We're replacing our APEX fundraiser with a new in-house program — simpler, more fun, and every dollar raised stays right here at Spicewood. No fees.
Why we're doing it ourselves
- Texas schools are underfunded.
- Several Austin-area public schools closed this year. At Spicewood, the impacts of underfunding often show up in classroom resources, extracurriculars, and support staff. That is where PTA works hard to bridge the gap.
- Outside fundraisers took a cut.
- Every year the Spicewood community bridges the gap. Until now, we've outsourced to corporate fundraisers who took a substantial share of what our superheroes gave.
- This year, all of it stays here.
